Fencing Course for Adult Beginners

Epsom Fencing Club offers a fencing course for the following types of beginner :

• adults who have never tried fencing before and want to take it up
• adults who may have done a little fencing before and want to start again

This course is structured around the syllabus for the Grade 1 Achievement Award at Foil as defined by the British Fencing Association.

Parent-Child Option
Parent learns with other adults at the same time as child does junior course

Duration 10 weeks
Times Wednesday evenings from 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm (report at 7.55 pm) *
Age Group From 14 years old to Adult
Cost £130.00
£250.00 (parent + child option)

Equipment Foils, jackets, plastrons, gloves and masks will be provided.
Clothing Participants should wear a short-sleeve T-shirt, stretchy (track-suit) trousers, and trainers (with clean, light-coloured soles).
Facilities There are good changing facilities and showers. However, fencers are advised to bring their own bottled (still) water for convenience.
