Fencing Course for Junior Beginners + Parent-Child Option

Epsom Fencing Club trains juniors from age 10, and offers them the opportunity to progress by fencing adults in the club as they gain in experience.

The course is based on the British Fencing Association grading criteria.

Parent-Child Option
Parent learns with other adults at the same time as child does junior course

Duration 10 weeks
Times Wednesday evenings from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm (report at 6.55 pm) *
Age Group

From 10 to 13 years old

Cost £120.00 (child only option)
£240.00 (parent + child option - £10 saving)
Fee covers:

Equipment Foils, jackets, plastrons, gloves and masks will be provided.
Clothing Participants should wear a short-sleeve T-shirt, stretchy (track-suit) trousers, and trainers (with clean, light-coloured soles).
Facilities There are good changing facilities and showers. However, fencers are advised to bring their own bottled (still) water for convenience.
